list of CA members who reportedly rejects Judy Taguiwalo as DSWD Secretary

The decision from the majority of the members of the Commission on Appointments to reject Judy Taguiwalo as Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary were condemned by the netizens who believed in the ability of UP professor.

Despite of the CA decision to keep the secrecy of the names who voted against Taguiwalo, the camp of the former DSWD secretary bared a list of the senators and congressment who rejected her appointment.

These are the list of the members of CA who reportedly voted against Taguiwalo’s appointment:

  3. Senator Panfilo Lacson.
  4. Ronaldo Zamora, San Juan
  5. Rodolfo Albano, Isabela, 1st District
  6. Joel Mayo Almario, Davao Oriental
  7. Wes Gatchalian, Valenzuela, 1st District
  8. Juliet Cortuna, A Teacher Partylist
  9. Antonio Floirendo Jr., Davao del Norte, 2nd District
  10. Roy Loyola, Cavite, 5th District
  11. Rosenda Ann Ocampo, Manila, 6th District
  12.  Benhur Salimbangon, Manila 4th District
  13. Josephine Ramirez-Sato, Occidental Mindoro
  14. Abraham Tolentino, Cavite, 6th District

As of writing, the post from the camp of Judy Taguiwalo was deleted,

But supporters of Taguiwalo believes that the list from the camp of the former DSWD secretary is accurate.

The Facebook page of Taguiwalo also mentioned six senators and 11 congressmen from CA who didn’t present any public manifestation on Judy Taguiwalo’s confirmation, they are:

Krizette Laureta Chu, one of the well known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte even mentioned three members of the CA . In her Facebook post, Chu mocked and highlighted the controversies faced by these three lawmakers.
