A viral video uploaded by Rodolfo Dimatira is now causing panic to some smartphone users in the Philippines. The video shows rodolfo curiously opened his smartphone and tried to remove the cover of his battery and when he opens it he saw the hidden thing in the back of the battery cover.
He claimed that this thing is a microchip that recording all your activities in your smartphone and automatically sending it to the internet, he also warned the people to remove it to avoid some privacy leak,700,000 people already shared his video on Facebook.
But is this true ? There are still no explanation from the makers of this battery, but some phone experts already gave their own thoughts about this hidden thing.
According to a phone expert, the microchip is not recording all your activities in your smartphone, the real purpose of that thing is to gave info about the percentage of the battery that you already used. Some people said that this is for GPS purposes. The most accurate answer is the microchip that hiding in the smartphone battery is the NFC or near field commonication. No one is allowed can comment in Rodolfo’s wall so there are still no strong explanation about this.
Some Netizens also opened their smartphone battery but saw nothing.
