Man arrested after using the word “Amen” to gain likes and popularity on Social Media.

Many Netizens on social media especially in the Philippines is showing support to their religion. Because of many religious people who surfs the world wide web everyday, many abusive people is also using this opportunity to gain popularity.

After many years of abusing the word “Amen” on the internet, a religious group is already moving to arrest every people that will use the holy word in many nonsense things. Last week, a man was arrested by the authorities after the group reported the acts of this man that using the word “amen” on Facebook.

According to them, the suspect is using pictures of sick people and using them to gain likes and shares that will made him more popular in the social media. One of the sick people who used by this man to gain likes reported this unauthorised use of his picture to the religious group that immediately passed to the authorities.

“Hindi natin pwedeng gamitin tong Amen na ito sa mga walang kwentang bagay lalo na sa panloloko ng tao” According to Chief Roberto Carpio Jimenez. The suspect is already in jail and waiting for his lawyer to defend him.

The religious group is also informing the Netizen to avoid following the people who used god to gain advantage in gaining subscribers on Facebook and Twitter.

“We will never stop hanggat may mga taong gumagamit ng salitang yan sa Facebook for popularity purposes” The Spokesperson of the group said to us. The catholic church also warned people to avoid using the name of god in nonsense things.
