No one died in HTI Factory Fire former Governor Remulla announces

Former Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla proudly announced that no one died in the Housing Technology Industries fire in Cavite Export Processing Zone on February 1.

The good news was announced by Remulla on his Social Media account.

He also said that most of the injured victims already allowed to go home, but 41 is still recovering in the hospital and two were still in the Intensive Care Unit.

Rumors that hundreds of people burned alive during the tragedy, but it was debunked after the circulated pictures of alleged victims came from the pictures of the casualties of Valenzuela Factory Fire that happened two years ago.

Some people who already inspected the burned factory didn’t found any corpse inside.

“Thank you very much for the prayers…101 initially inured in the HTI fire. 41 left recovering in the hospital…2 in the ICU…0…i repeat…ZERO casualties in the fire. Our prayers were answered.” Former Governor Jonvic Remulla wrote on his Facebook post.

The reports circulated on the internet that no one allowed to enter the burned factory was also proven false because members of PTV News allowed to enter the site and took some pictures.

But because of the accident, 10,000 workers may lose their jobs temporarily until the factory is not yet rebuilded. The damage caused by the fire also costs P15-B that caused to declare Cavite under state of calamity.
