PNP Chief Bato wants to be a senator, but still unsure if he’s going to run next election

Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Thursday admitted that he dreamed to become a senator one day, but clarified that he’s still unsure if he’s going to run in the next senatorial election.

In a radio interview, he expressed his desire to continue serving the country as a legislator.

He also said that he’s not vocal in running for the next election because some people might destroy his image in public.

Bato also said that he don’t have any money for the campaign.

“Wala akong pera panggastos… Hahanap ng paraan iyan, gigibain ako,” he said.

The PNP chief also said that he wanted to return to his hometown when he retires next year.

He also said that President Duterte is the one who will decide if he’s going to be appointed to other positions in the government.
