Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II revealed the names of the person allegedly tried to bribe the Bilibid inmates who testified against Senator Leila De Lima.
The Justice Secretary named, former senator Jamby Madrigal and Congresswoman Alonte behind the alleged P100-M bribe for the Bilibid inmates in exchange of their withdrawal in their past testimonies against the lady Senator.
In an interview with GMA News, Aguirre said that the inmates must retract their statements before the EDSA Anniversary tomorrow.
Yesterday, the Justice Secretary revealed that the inmates were offered a large amount of money, but they refused it.
In response, Senator Leila De Lima challenged Aguirre II the prove his newest accusations.
Madrigal and Alonte are both members of Liberal Party where Senator Leila De Lima belongs.
