Ramon Bautista is one of the rising comedians in the Philippines, his self confidence carried him to reach the top and being a UP professor is a testament that he is not just a simple comedian. But sometimes comedians like Mr. Bautista must limits their joke especially if you are just visiting a place that you’re not familiar like Davao City.
According to Davao Vice Mayor Pulong Duterte, the son of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, he checked the Kadayawan Invasion earlier if everyone was fine and if the organizers were doing the right thing. But when he saw Mr. Ramon Bautista that joking about the characteristics of the Davaoeña girls, his temper starts to gone bad. After that Mr. Pulong Duterte posted a status on his official Fan Page about his encounter with Mr.Bautista.
Well, visiting a law abiding and strict City like Davao is a paradise to some tourist who wants to be safe, but for some people who wants to abase the people of Davao they will give you the nightmare that you don’t want to experience. I asked some of my friends to translate this post and according to their translation:

Well maybe the public apology of Mr. Bautista didn’t convince the People of Davao and most of them is still wishing that Mr. Bautista must be penalized for the bad joke that he showed to the Kadayawan Invasion. Luckily Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is not there or else i think something more will happen to Mr. Bautista.

Kasi kung maintindihan mo yung sinabi in bisaya may inuendo implied kaya offensive. Nung trinanslate into tagalog medyo nawala yung gravity ng gustong sabihin.
Yung hipon joke kasi is like saying in English with an inuendo implied “Never mind if a woman has an ugly face/head…if she has a nice body you can still do something to that” ….very offensive yan sa mga babae diba?
