Daniel Padilla is one of the early birds who voted this Presidential Election.
But the Netizens criticised him right now because of his picture together with his ballot. According to some Netizen, the Teen King violated the election rules.
“Taking a picture inside the polling precinct is not allowed according to COMELEC” One of the Netizen said to our source.
The fans of Daniel Padilla explained that media can take a picture inside the polling precinct for news purposes, but the people who criticised the teen king is still not accepting the explanation and believing that the BEI is giving him a VIP Treatment.
“Atleast tinakpan ni DJ yung ballot niya! We love you DJ! Haters gonna hate” One of the supporters of DJ said on Facebook while defending his idol.
It is an election offense to take a selfie with a ballot on election day. This means anyone found guilty could spend up to 6 years in jail.
Many OFW are already probed after taking a picture with their ballot.
Respect election guidelines kid. Election is serious matter and it shouldn’t be mixed with selfie pictures just to boast to the world you were eligible to vote.
