ABS-CBN European Correspondent and Immigration Law practitioner Gene Alcantara showcased a conspiracy theory about the live video posted by Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher ‘Bong’ Go several days ago to debunk the speculations that the chief executive is comatose.
On August 20, Go made a live video to show the current situation of President Rodrigo Duterte amid the claims of Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Chairman Joma Sison that the former Mayor of Davao was already bedridden because of an illness.
The video showed the President having a dinner with a girl, he also said that he cannot be in coma.
In his conspiracy theory, he claimed that the man in the video was not President Duterte, but his doppelganger.
He also explained the difference between Duterte and the doppelganger.
Worried about that video Bong Go showed of “Duterte“. My friends said it does not look like D.
First of all the talking head looked much younger and his face much smoother than the normal facade of D.
Also D has this peklat on the left of his forehead, but the talking head does not.
And I couldn’t work out what he was mumbling about.
Is Bong Go trying to make a fool of the Filipino people and the world at large? If this is not D, then where is the real D?
I am not an expert but there must be facial experts out there who can do a brief analysis and share it urgently to us all.by Gene Alcantara
However, some Pro-Duterte bloggers and netizens believed that the theory of Alcantara was hilarious.
“I’m sorry guys, but I have to thank Gene Alcantara. As in, really thank him. In this day and age, it’s hard to find what he offers. COMEDY, LAUGHTER!! AMUSEMENT!! Such rare gifts really. So thank you Gene Alcantara. Thank you for making me laugh this cold and rainy day. I’m not even being sarcastic, I swear. You are sooooo funny!!!!!” netizen Diane Baga said.
Several days also after the live video was released, the President started to appear in public again.
