A cop went viral on the internet after netizens thought that he’s urinated in public.

The photo shared by thousands of netizens on Facebook and they criticized the cop without knowing the real story behind it.

Several days after the photo went viral, the original photographer of the viral picture, Luis Liwanag ended all the speculations of the netizens.

According to him, the photo was taken last year during lunchtime in Pasay-Baclaran Area. He spotted the cop washing his hands. Liwanag also said that the cop parted his legs because he did not want his shoes to get wet.

Some people who defended the cop said that they noticed a water bottle beside him.

He was shocked after several netizens grabbed his photo and re uploaded it on the internet together with a malicious caption.

Liwanag didn’t intended to embarrassed the cop in the photo or to made a false story about it.

 

Even NCRPO Director Oscar Albayalde saw the photo and he said that they would investigated the viral photo.

The cop in the viral photo until now was still not identified.

The photo even caught the attention of the National Capitol Region Region Police Office (NCRPO) after being discovered that the cop was based in Metro Manila.

Even the mainstream media covered the viral photo, questioning if the cop was really urinated in public.
