Miss Universe 2017 is set to happen in the Philippines. Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo, Undersecretary Kat De Castro and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach confirmed the news on social media.
The Miss Universe 2017 Coronation Night may happen in Manila and other venues of the prestigious beauty pageant and other details are still discussing.
“Cebu and Bohol are among the confirmed venues for the ancillary events. All three major islands of the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao—will be well represented and visited by the Miss Universe candidates.” Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo said in her Facebook post.
Despite of some petition from Women Groups urging to stop the Miss Universe 2017 in the Philippines, the Department of Tourism tried their best to prove that no one can stop the prestigious event in the country next year.
Department of Tourism Undersecretary Kat De Castro thanked everyone who helped to push the Miss Universe 2017 in the Philippines.
