President Rodrigo Duterte became emotional when people greeted him and sang happy birthday song.
In a video posted by Presidential Communication on the Philippines, the President seemed overwhelmed by the love that the people of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro showed during his visit on March 29, 2017.
The netizens who watched the video also became emotional after they saw that President Duterte really appreciated the support that his supporters gave.
In his speech, Duterte narrated how unpopular he was during his first days of campaign and he thanked Socorro Mayor Maria Fe ‘Bubut’ Brondial for introducing him to the people of Oriental Mindoro during his first visit to the province during the campaign period.
