Because of their anger to Senator Sotto’s controversial remarks to single parents, some netizens even dragged the name of his daughter Ciara Sotto who is also a single parent.
Ciara even attacked by the netizens on social media and mocked her for being a solo parent daughter of the Senator who disrespected the single parents.
They made memes of the senator’s daughter to inform the senator that Ciara is also a single parent.
Some even confronted Ciara Sotto on her Facebook and Instagram Account.
But some people defended Ciara Sotto and criticized the netizens for being a ‘hypocrite’ for attacking the daughter of Tito Sotto.
Netizen Raphael Phoebus Ubales, one of the first people who criticized Sotto’s remarks urged the netizens to stop dragging the name of Ciara Sotto in the issue of her father.
He said that they are not different to Tito Sotto if they are going to attack Ciara Sotto who’s a solo parent.
“May I request everyone to stop dragging Ciara Sotto in her father’s mess. If we make memes, call her names, and such, how are we different from Tito Sotto,” Ubales said.

Senator Sotto quickly apologized for his remarks and he explained that he’s only joking.
Ciara Sotto is not yet giving any statement on the cyber bullying that she experienced after her father remarks.
