Duterte spoke and apologized in front of the jews in Beit Yaacov Synagogue in Makati City.
The President also explained to the Jewish Community why his mouth was always spoke controversial remarkks.
He also admitted that he did not read the prepared speech in front of them because it would not show his emotion.
Members of the Jewish Association of the Philippines including its President, Paul Rosenberg, said that the apology of President Duterte is sincere.
The controversial hitler remarks of President Duterte started last week and it sparked international outrage, but he explained that the people who opposed him was the one who first portrayed him as cousin of hitler.
