De La Salle University professor and political scientist Antonio Contreras questioned why the camp of Leni Robredo was so afraid of the recount requested by the defeated Vice Presidential Candidate Bongbong Marcos.
“Leni Robredo ano ba problema mo. Kung naniniwala kang ikaw ang nanalo bakit wala kang tiwala sa recount?” Contreras wrote.
He wrote that the Vice President must not worry about the expenses of the recount because Bongbong Marcos must the one who would shoulder all the expenses.
“i naman ikaw ang gagastos at si Bongbong Marcos.
At may karapatan ka namang makialam sa proseso ng recount bilang respondent. Andyan naman si Atty. Macalintal na abugado mo. Di naman siguro problema pera at andyan naman ang LP at si Loida Nicolas-Lewis.” He added.
Contreras believe that Leni can participate in the recount because she’s a lawyer.
In these past weeks, the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo expressed alarm over rumors that the ballots would be recounted even without the direction of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal which handling the election protest filed by Bongbong Marcos against Robredo.
