The 21 year-old student, John Paul delas Nieves who challenges Duterte in Comelec is now receiving tremendous amount of criticism to the Duterte supporters.
Some people brought back the Hazing issue who sent a 17-year-old student to the hospital that made Nieves to be suspended in the University of the Philippines Student Council.
They also thrown the Frat War issue that involved 10 suspects from his fraternity who attacked 4 other students that forces Nieves to resign in his fraternity.
According to the Duterte supporters, Nieves was impeached because he refused to resign from his fraternity.
According to Nieves, he believed in his own advocacy to uphold excellence and service for the development of the society.
His fraternity should not protect those who are involved in the incident in order to spare the innocent, he added.
Supporters of Nieves, defended the UP Student and said that JP possessed the characteristics of a responsible leader and the suspension that he faced is not a punishment.
Nieves admitted that he was receiving threats from Duterte supporters on Facebook. The Camp of Duterte challenges the UP Student to file another case to the PDP-Laban Standard Bearer.
