In a survey conducted by Social Weather Stations from December 8 to December 16 2017, only eight percent of the Filipinos nationwide believe that former President Benigno Aquino III’s whole term is better than the current term of President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to the survey, 70% believe that Duterte has performed better than Aquino and 22% percent said that they’re the same.
Most people who believed that President Duterte is better than Aquino came from Mindanao.
Eight percent of the respondents, meanwhile, said that the performance of Aquino is better than Duterte.
The SWS asked the respondents in the survey: “Kung ikukumpara ang pagganap ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang tungkulin mula Hulyo 2016 sa pagkaganap ni dating Pangulong Aquino mula Hulyo 2010 hanggang Hulyo 2016, masasabi n’yo ba na PRRD is better, the same, PNoy is better?
69 percent of the Filipinos also believed that President Rodrigo Duterte’s action is just appropriate for his current position, while 18 percent said that it’s inappropriate and 13 percent were undecided.
The camp of former President Aquino is not yet giving any comments on the latest survey conducted by SWS.
