Former actress Tanya Garcia-Lapid slammed Senator Bam Aquino over his rude comments against the personalities who entered the magic 12 of the Social Weather Stations’.
The survey which conducted on the last quarter of 2017 showed that Tanya’s Father-In-Law, former Senator and actor Lito Lapid entered the magic 12 together with Grace Poe, Jinggoy Estrada, Erwin Tulfo, Bato and other personalities.
Aquino said in the alleged interview that he respected the result of the survey, however he didn’t like how the people chose the people that they wanted to serve the country just because they always see those personalities on TV, like Garcia’s Father-in-Law who’s one of the cast of the famous primetime series “Ang Probinsiyano” by ABS-CBN.
“Nirerespeto naman natin ang resulta ng kahit anong survey. Kaya lang, sa tingin ko may mga ilang pumasok sa Magic 12 kahit di naman dapat. Napansin ko kasi, parang bumabalik tayo sa dati na pag laging nakikita ng publiko, akala nila pwede na,” Aquino allegedly said according to Politiko.ph article.
After the alleged comment of Aquino circulated online, Tanya Garcia couldn’t stop herself on slamming the Liberal Party senator who’s rumored to seek another term in the Senate.
In her Facebook account, the actress became sarcastic in responding on Aquino’s alleged comment against her Father-In-Law.
“Hmmmm …why Bam Aquino???? So you think ikaw lang deserving maging senator??? At yung ibang humahabol, hindi? O e di ikaw na! Ikaw na! Bam Aquino for Senator this 2019! I sincerely hope you win ng madami ka pang magawa!
She also found Aquino’s comment funny because Aquino and the other members of Liberal Party liked to ridiculed her father-in-law when he was still a senator.
“At nakakatawa kayo, ke LP man or hindi, nung senador si Lito Lapid ang daming niyong sinasabi, ngayon na nag-aartista na nga lang ay may sinasabi pa rin kayo! Ano ba talaga gusto nyo gawin nung tao???? she asked.
Garcia also said that if Aquino really respect the results of the SWS survey, he should keep his ‘mouth shut’
When we tried to verify the alleged comments against former Senator Lito Lapid, the social media page of Bam Aquino denied that the Senator said that kind of rude comment against the action star-turned-politician.
“Sen. Bam has not made any negative comments regarding the recent surveys for the 2019 elections nor has he commented on any of the top 12 Senate candidates.” the Facebook page of Aquino announced.
